Anil Shah, MD, FACC

 After receiving his medical degree from the University of Gujarat in Ahmedabad, India, Dr. Anil Shah completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of Connecticut in New Britain. He completed his Fellowship in Cardiology at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis.

Dr. Shah joined Cardiology Consultants, Ltd. in 1985 and currently serves as Medical Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at St. Elizabeth's Hospital. He has trained many local cardiologists in the performance of new procedures, particularly those introduced over the past 10 years. Dr. Shah is board certified in internal medicine and cardiology and is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology.  He specializes in cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, atherectomy and stent placement.
