Richard Hui, MD, PhD, FACC

Dr. Richard Hui is Co-Director of Electrophysiology Studies in The Southern Illinois Heart Institute's Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. Dr. Hui earned his medical degree at Tufts University of Medicine in Boston after completing his PhD in bio-organic chemistry at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Dr. Hui then completed his residency in Internal Medicine at John Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, and recently completed a Fellowship in Cardiology and Electrophysiology at the same institution.

Dr. Hui is board certified in Internal Medicine and board eligible in Cardiology. He specializes in electrophysiology, pacemaker implantation, implantable defibrillators, radiofrequency ablations, and interpretation of cardiac event recorders.
