Roop Lal, MD, FACC

Dr. Roop Lal received his medical degree from Osmania University in Hyberabad, India and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Missouri at Kansas City. He completed his Fellowship in Cardiology at the Mid-America Heart Institute at St. Luke's Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. He then served as co-director of the Arrhythmia Service at Jewish Hospital of St. Louis. He is currently the Director of the Electrophysiology Laboratory at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Belleville.

Dr. Lal joined Cardiology Consultants, Ltd. in 1987. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiology and is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. He is also a Fellow of the Council on Clinical Cardiology of the American Heart Association. His specialties include electrophysiology, pacemaker implantation, implantable defibrillators, arrhythmia studies and cardiac catheterization.
